THE COMPANY

Founded in 1960 by Pietro Battezzati, the company started with fusions of grey cast-iron in a handicraft factory, producing materials for aqueducts, especially manhole covers, trap-doors and special pieces.

In 1969 the Battezzati foundry moved to the industrial zone of Modugno (near Bari) in a plant of over 1000 square meters, with an open area designated for the storage and the loading and unloading of goods.

Over time, the Battezzati foundry, which is becoming a leader in this economic sector, has strengthened its contacts with other important companies.
